For as long as I can remember, I have been captivated by the relationship between light & color. I strive to let that shine through in my photography work every single time I pick up a camera. Sometimes, a moment begs for darker, deeper, richer tones that heavily saturate the entire image - and others, are naturally airy and full of gloriously lighter, less saturated tones. I strive to honor that; I am here for all of it. When I am asked what is my photographic or editing style? I cautiously answer… I do not have (just) one. Because I simply cannot say from one session to the next, how the light will affect my subjects. While I may not have a single ‘style’, what I do have is a true love of color, light and most importantly, realism. I do not use certain ‘filters’ or ‘presets’ to edit my photos, because I want them to look natural and real, ‘IG grid continuity’ and ‘brand consistency’ be damned. I hope for nothing more than that the moments I capture for my clients to reflect the true vibrancy of the moment, and the richness of their lives.

I consider myself a true introvert, but it feels right to note here that I am not at all shy; I sincerely enjoy good people. I love pizza, thrifting, exploring new cities, and obviously the oxford comma. A few more things about me: I am a Michigander, born and raised by two Michiganders, and am the second of their five children. I first fell in love with photography as a child secretly playing with my mother’s Minolta SRT.
